Bob Azzarito: The CCC’s campus minister, The Rev. Dr. Bob Azzarito, is in his tenth year at the CCC. Under his leadership, the CCC has strengthened its role in the university community and enriched the spiritual lives of hundreds of UMW students.
Pastor Bob, as he is referred to by CCC students, is an ordained Presbyterian minister. In 2004, while ministering to CCC students on a full-time basis, he obtained his doctoral degree from Carey Theological Seminary in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. That degree includes a specialization in the spiritual development of young adults.
Bob and his wife, Sue, live in Spotsylvania County and have four grown children.
Bob keeps regular office hours at the CCC and is always available to talk with and counsel students. He can be reached by phone or email.
MARLENE KINDRED: Marlene Kindred, the CCC administrator, has a license plate on her vehicle that reads “42n8one.” However, it’s the CCC who is fortunate to have Marlene on board as the CCC administrator, a position she has held since 1997.
Marlene is a native of Fredericksburg and an ordained deacon. She has a strong background in horticulture, with a special interest in landscape and floral design. She and her husband, John, live in Stafford with their daughter, Elanor.
As administrator, Marlene oversees a wide variety of administrative tasks, from answering phones to preparing reports, and is truly at the center of daily activities at the CCC, ready to greet visitors and answer questions.
